The purpose of this book is to, as simply as possible, lay out the steps for starting your own business.  Over the years, these methods have been utilized and executed with success many times.  It is designed for people who have never built a company or who have tried and not been successful.  This book will guide you through the process although it may not be quite as sequential as displayed here, because every situation is a bit different.

I wrote this book because almost every week I receive a call from an entrepreneur who is looking for help and cannot seem to find any that does not come with a hefty consulting fee.  They are frustrated with the guidance they have received which mostly leads them down dark alleys and quickly exhausts their precious capital.

This book is about the process of building and managing a business and contains many lessons which I did not learn in school but were learned the hard way.  You will find it very useful as you start and grow your own business.
